First Aid Training for Children

Mini Medics is a very basic introduction to First Aid for all children and aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11, but it can suit children of any age.

The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The course will show complete respect for the child's ability, make it educational and practical and instill the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.

The Mini Medics Course

The course can run between, 3-6 hours dependent on the syllabus you want covered including educational, theoretical and practical teaching sessions.

First Aid Kits

Certification

A certificate of attendance is included with the Mini Medics book as a 'cut out' for each child that completes the course.

Copurse Capacity

A maximum of 16 children can be accommodated on this course and ideally, all children should be a minimum of 8 years of age. However, younger children are permitted.

Assessment

This is not a regulated qualification and a final test is not necessary for certification. An optional test and/or quiz are available in the form of a worksheet if required.
